Social Activities and Events (Open To All)
The social quarters at the MAC provide a vibrant space for board games, card games, ping pong, and more, fostering a sense of community and fun. Recognizing the importance of togetherness, especially during the festive seasons, holiday dinners are hosted as a sanctuary for the recovery community and their families, ensuring no one has to spend these special times alone.
Regularly, at least once a month, the MAC organizes a potluck dinner, which is followed by an enriching talk from a guest speaker, combining nourishment with inspiration. The center also hosts a variety of other events to cater to diverse interests. These include euchre nights, watch parties for the MSU vs. U of M games, an annual golf outing, kayak and tubing adventures, and a Super Bowl party. Festive celebrations like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve are also grandly celebrated, embracing the philosophy that the more, the merrier!
