Montcalm Alano Club
Supporting Recovery and Community: The Montcalm Alano Club is a welcoming haven for individuals and families impacted by addiction, offering a safe space for meetings, fellowship, and personal growth.
Our Mission
To provide facilities for meetings and social functions; to provide support for members; to otherwise provide the resources needed to assist the recovering community and their family members.
What is the "MAC"?
The Montcalm Alano Club (MAC) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in September of 2014 to provide a community resource for people recovering from substance abuse disorder. We are not affiliated with AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) or NA (Narcotics Anonymous) or any other addiction recovery group. Rather, the MAC is an independent organization formed for the sole purpose of supporting individuals in recovery.
The MAC provides a "home" for recovery meetings - not to take away from meetings that already exist - but to provide a central location where even more meetings can be held.
The MAC can also be a "safe haven" for people in recovery. A place to go to socialize, play games, have fun, and to enjoy substance-free living without the pressures that might lead to relapse.
The MAC was formed because a group of people cared, because everyone in recovery should be supported to succeed, and because our community is stronger when we work together to help all individuals reach their full potential.
